Transportation

The metro station DR. Byen is located 200 m from the dormitory. With the metro, you can quickly get to the inner city (Nørreport st., 7 min) and connect with S-trains, buses and regional trains. In the other direction, the metro takes you to Ørestaden and Fields (Ørestad St., 6 min) and access to Kalvebod Fælled (Vestamager st., 7 min).

Buses run from the intersection between Røde mellemvej and Grønjordsvej, right next to the dormitory. The metro connects to Ørestad st. where there are Regional trains to Sweden and Helsingør.

Grønjordskollegiet is approx. 2 km from motorway exit 19 “Ørestad”. The roads are good for cycling on and are cleared of snow during the winter. However, it is very windy along Ørestad’s boulevard.

There are parking lots for cars with plenty of space. The parking lot is reserved for the residents, staff and guests of the residents. We have both outdoor and indoor bicycle parking.
